when i was a little boy i moved to a place.it was no ordinary place, evil lurked in every corner. the wind howled like a lonely wolf and a full moon.yet my mother was a stubborn one and insisted on staying." but mom there are ghosts in the basement" "no silly boy, its only your imagination. "no you've gotta believe me!!" what i didn't know was that soon something terrible would happen. later that night in my bed i heard a scraping sound coming down the hallway. "hello" i whispered. "give me what i seek, or you'll die." "what do you seek" i asked. the scraping returned. scritch, scratch. "what do you want" i screamed, desperate in an attempt to stall him.bang, bang. "go away."suddenly all was silent.had he returned to the basement, or was he waiting, watching for his turn to rip me to shreds. slowly i walked to the door.creek i peered through the crack. no one in sight.i slowly crept out. i went to my mothers room. why wasn't she in bed? slowly i crept to the closet, gripped the handles tightly and pulled. what i saw carved itself into my mind........
