Benefits of a Celebrating a Monthsary
* It is an excuse to do something special at least once a month.
* It is romantic.
* The couple has something to look forward to, sort of like a Valentine’s day each month.
Disadvantages of Celebrating a Monthsary:
* It becomes a HUGE issue when someone forgets about it. It becomes another possible cause of a fight.
* Sooner or later the couple will tire of buying expensive gifts and going to fancy dinners every single month. With the worsening financial status of everyone we know, it’s pretty hard to spend a few hundred dollars a month for a hotel stay or a candle lit dinner.
Things you can do during your Monthsary
1. Start a Time Capsule - If you save a souvenir each month, you will have 12 items in your time capsule on your first year, 24 items on your second and so on. You can seal the time capsule when you get married or when you have your baby, then open the capsule during your 25th year anniversary as an old staid couple.
2. Home Spa - Massage each other with scented oils, each time concentrating on one part of the other’s body. Romantic and kinky, and very sweet.
