I'm kind of angry.
There's a book club at my school, and the first meeting was today. Since I love reading I decided to join, I told two of my friends who I generally hang out with that I was joining, and they decided that they would to. The librarian is running it, and she said that since there was such a small turn out, we should make a poster and sit in the back of the cafeteria so the students might be more interested.
They were laughing and thought it was stupid.
I was like, "If you don't want to do it, then don't"
One of my friends said,
"Hah.. well we're going to look like nerds..we have a status here.. and it's definetely has nothing to with books."

It's pathetic that someone would prefer to have the status of being a druggie and a ******** slut, than someone who reads?
