So, thanks to certain... inconveniences... I'm transferring out of IUPUI and looking to enroll in a smaller college called ITT Tech.
It actually doesn't look like much when you drive up to it, and it's a single, small-office type of building, but it just feels like I'd do much better there. I dunno, it just seems like the high school I went to...
But the best part is, I've finally had that epiphany moment where you learn what you really want to do in life. Or at least I think I have...
It looks like I'm gonna turn my love of video games into a career...
I'm most interested in the control system design aspect of it. Ever since I was a 6 year old kid back in Houston, when I first was introduced to "Duck Hunt" by one of my friends down the street, I've been mentally taking apart and constructing what I think would be better controlers for gaming systems.
I dunno why I haven't ever realized this before... I mean, just this year, I went through the pros and cons of using everything like joystick-like sensors (for capturing the movement of joints in a control suit), to using glyph recognition software (to allow movement capture while still retaining full freedom of movement), to using the traditional motion-capture suit (for pinpointing the relative position of all selected points on the body).
Man, I can't wait to hear Kingdom's reaction to this last paragraph... sweatdrop
I bet you never thought that I thought about gaming in this kinda detail, did you? xd

You're going to have way too much fun with that. I wouldn't put it past you to make an evil controller that will screw over players on particular games.
