They tell me not to hurt, that it'll be ok,
But I don't know what to do, what to say.
I sit here, with my demons, under my bed
And wait for my walls to turn blood red.

I try to face my fears and conquer my mind,
But my love is blind, tortured by emotion.
I'm ready to end this, take my ashes, throw them in the ocean
My mind is buzzing, with so many thoughts.

I pull my hair out by the roots,
Just to get a grip on my reality that spirals around me.
I want to know who you want me to be
But if being me, isn't how you see it
Then take this heart, break it and bleed it
Throw me on the floor, I'm done.

I'm just a doll alongside your shelf, tossed away like the rest
Till you find the one that suits you best.
Bruised and battered, as I stand up one more time
To find someone who will make me shine.
I'm tired of this, and that's the bottom line

So here I go again, to take this road
Gathering interest of everyone except you.
Yet, you keep heaving my load
Running in and out of my mind.

No wonder why I keep coming back to you.
