Alright lets do a quick recap-

I introduced Zakuren/Cal and I've gotten some responses about him. Then before him was Zack, the good, then bad, then neutral.
Now it's time to introduce Seth.

So if you noticed the ones above are, or were bad guys in the series, but not the only ones. Seth is more of a complex character, not as in what he does, but how he does it. I've gotten mixed reactions from this character because of what he does, more bad then good, and a few times he was almost thrown out because of it. But soon after I realized you can't make everyone happy.

See Seth is a scientist, doesn't really sound bad, but here's where it gets interesting. Almost every Avi here would be considered one, including the superior ones. See where I'm going with this? He turns everyone into his minions by "de-evolving them." Sending in beast instincts and a side effect of animal features.

Now the idea was that Seth, like Zakuren is in the ranks of Lorex, his intentions are sorta the same as the thunder demons, but with a twist, he'd be the only human ruling the world.

He seems to be one that brings in a different verison of the sci-fi then aliens and robots, while also bringing in the fantasy. Which is one reason why he's still around.

By the time the third book comes to an end I expect something to happen to Seth, I haven't quite got a clear mental picture but I expect the guy to go insaine and change himself into some mixed bat/lion/something else, and get killed in the end, that or something else where he goes crazy and becomes a prisoner.

Anyways his minions are somewhat under the scientists control, the animal instinct takes over the more dangerous the animal DNA is injected into them. Always around him is the companion he wasn't able to get, a woman that's been mutated and looks kinda like a werewolf. She's the only one that's able to talk though in the complete mutated form.
