Ok. Last night me, my hubby, and our daughter went to Kroger to get us some food to last us until Friday when hubby gets a pay check. Then we headed to Taco Bell, so me and my hubby could get something to eat for dinner. We stopped at a red light. I few seconds later 5 officer from Precinct 4 pulled up with their lights and sears going and just sat there blocking the northbound lanes. Then I heard two more sears coming up from behind us and looked back. I seen two more Precinct 4 officers chasing a black pickup truck that looked like my neighbors, but it didn't have the signs on the sides. Before I knew It I had jumped ontop of the baby's car sit to cover her from the glass ecause the pickup turck was aiming at us. I used the hood on my jacket to cover my head, but I wasn't worried about me. I was worried about her. My hubby told me to hang on and I knew he was getting ready to hit the gas to get into the parking lot of the pawn shop, Pizza Hut and so on when on of the two Precinct 4 officer pulled up next to the guy and pushed him to the shoulder. The guys kept driving. The officer then quicklya nd hard turned to keep from hitting us. The guy jumped the curb, which lucky at the time of night had no one on it and then headed west on 1960 with like 30 to 35 Precinct 4 nipping at his heels.

We watched them leave and waited for the next green light to go to the Taco Bell. As we where waiting through the drive thru my hubby called info to get them to give him the number to the Non-emencry number to Precinct 4 superoir, so he could tell them how great of a job their officer did with pushing the guy to the shoulder and afforded hitting us, which isn't normal for him to talk to a superoir. lol. They gave us the wrong number. Then on the way back we slaw another Precinct 4 officer and stop to ask him for the number. He gave it to us and told us who to talk to. He also told us that he was on route to it when they called the chase off due to the high speeds that were being run, which suck to me because he should have been cought for endangering peoples life on top of that to, but I also understand that when you start run really high speeds your taking on more then just your own life at that point of time to, so hope they got his number and got him at his house last night.

Oh, and from what we can tell that chase started on the road we live on. Don't know where other then that.
