My respect for my classmates has grown ten fold this weekend. So on Saturday I went to a hockey game at Kents Hill, where we lost 0-7 but at least smashed a little a** into the boards. And there were Canadians that played before us! biggrin
Then on Sunday I stayed at home with dad and made pizza when we should have gotten the Christmas tree. Played pokemon and beat Flannery and some Team Aqua a**. And then when they came home, they told me the greatest story..
So the two games were on Jenny's girl team, so since Annie was there, so was Chris (and Neil, for some reason). The reffs absolutely sucked, and weren't calling anything, so Chris and Neil were harassing the reffs (which doesn't sound abnormal, if anyone has EVER been to a hockey game). But when Jenny got checked from behind, Chris just BLEW UP. He jumped from the stands and slammed on the glass.
He and Neil got ejected from the game after that. And they got high fives from all our parents and stick slaps on ice from our team the entire way out of the building while Neil hooted away.
Ohmygosh, I would have given everything to be there. heart
I would die tonight
For you to feel alive

ASK YOURSELF in the most silent hour of your night: must I write? Dig into yourself for a deep answer. And if this answer rings out in assent, if you meet this solemn question with a strong, simple "I must," then build your life in accordance with this necessity..." - Rainer Maria Rilke
