My Demise
It's cold outside, I see your breath
As you grow closer to your death
My tears dripping down my face
Your breathing feels so out of place
I hug you tight and say
"Hold on..It's not the same with you gone."
You stare deeply in my eyes
your eyes go blank, meeting demise
I scream out crying for all I'm worth
As your soul goes back into the earth
I slide the lids of your eyes shut
And carry you back to my hut
I lay you down with perfect care
you are so light, you're barely there
I kiss your lips for the last time
The coolness is so devine
I light a match, starting a flame
for without you, nothing's the same
I lay down here, right by your side,
as the flames go up, ending in my demise.
