Holy cow I can't believe that 08 is over.
It was a way fun year.
It started off with a bang, I was at a dance that night and I ended up getting in a fight with Aaron with those things ou blow into and the thing rolls out... yeah we hit each other in the face with them, it was fun...
and then It was the last of my middle school experience. That was the best year ever. So many memories made with my best friends.
and then, the most life changing experience ever. Steiner. Oh my goodness, when I applied to work there over the summer I thought I was just gonna go have fun in the wilderness for a few weeks. But that's not even the half of it. I learned how to deal with disaster situations, how to face my own fears, and how to deal with annoying people, and I understand boys (ha ha all you confused girls biggrin )
But not only that, I met sooo many amazing people. And I am proud to be able to say that we've all adopted each other as siblings. They are all as dear to me as any blood related siblings could be. You know, I really should take my sister's advice and write out all my memoirs from Steiner. I could probably make a whole book! You'd be suprised what can happen in just 8 weeks! By the end of the first day I could have sworn it had been a month already. aaanywho, most of you are SICK of my stories from there. But when more happens there in a week than what happens at school in a month, steiner is almost all I have to talk about.
So, the start of high school. Bleh, I wish I was going to a different school. I'm not gonna say the name of my school just in case someone here likes it. (it's a popular school) But the thing with this school is that all the focus is on sports. I am not a sports person. I enjoy actually learning in school. That's what it was made for after all. But when your pre-calc teacher is the basketball coach... well, let's just say that I haven't learned anything yet this year, and it's frustrating. But I still love orchestra and my teacher is amazing. And I'm in 3 orchestras this year and am loving it!
This is the one that people are seemingly more interested in lately... Love life.
Well, I guess you could say I have one finally. mrgreen But yeah, It's going good. I went on my first date to a school dance, (How was it? Well, he practically broke his ankle the day before, so we sat around and talked cause he could hardly walk. It was sad. But we had fun... well, when Steve wasn't being a retard.) And pretty much the guy I like, likes me back, so everything is good. No, we're not going out, but that's not a big deal to me. Besides, it would not be a good thing if we were going out. For 2 reasons. 1. We both work at Steiner, and Staff relationships are something you get fired for. and 2. He'll be going on an LDS mission right after the Steiner season ends this year, so, it's just not good timing. Anywho...
so, I hope that this year brings lots of joy to you all Personally I'm gonna try for the best year ever!
Au revoir mes amis, Je vous aimez!
