After seeing the person he stood there,it was little dark so he couldn't see them very well.He just knew they were there and alive.
He walked closer to them and saw that it was a young girl,she was about his age.Her hair was long and black and from what he could see her eyes were grey,or at least one of them anyway.He wasn't able to see the other one due to the darkness of the room.
"Hello?Are you ok?"He looked down at her,he was alittle concerned and scared at the same time"Who did this to you?"
Kyo looked up at the boy and tilted her head slightly"Your not one of the guards...what are you doing here?"She glared at him some.
The young boy looked away from her then at her hands,he saw that they were chained and touched the chains"Why are you like this,and why are you in this room"
Kyo glanced over at the boy,she could tell that he was alittle scared although he was hiding it very well."I was accused of being a demon,so they captured me and chained me in this place"
He looked down at her legs seeing that they weren't chained to anything"But if you were a demon wouldn't you have been able to freely escape,afterall you're able to move your legs freely"
Kyo sighed slightly as she looked down at her legs some"Yes thats true,but these guards are idiots"She looked up at the boy but she was looking in his eyes"What is your name?"
At the moment she looked in his eyes he could tell that she had two different eye colors,the one he saw before was grey but after looking at both of them he saw that her right eye was red.
"Whats with her eyes...theres no way she has an infection in them.Those are natural" He sat down against the cold cement and looked at her"My..My name is Ryu"
Kyo didn't bother telling him her name considering what was going to happen after he came for her"Well Ryu....will you free me from this place?"
Ryu didn't say anything for awhile after hearing her request.He stood up knowing that there wasn't something right about her"I do belive you are a demon,but another side of me doesn't"
Kyo sighed slightly as she pulled herself closer to the pole to rest her back against it."I'll ask you once more.Will you free me?"She looked up at him.
Ryu looked down at her and then looked at the chains"If I do..will you promise to stay with me and follow me wherever I shall go?"
Kyo looked away from him slightly after hearing that"So in other words you want me to protect you"She grinned alittle as she looked back over to Ryu.
"Something like that,I just don't want to travel alone.Because what I'm about to do will get me in alot of trouble"Ryu put his hands on the chain.
Kyo moved her legs around some"Alright..,I promise on my soul that I'll stay with you and protect you"
Ryu nodded his head after hearing that"Good"He looked around for something to break the chains with.
Kyo watched Ryu as he looked around the room for something"Check by that barrel,there should be a key there"
Ryu blinked after hearing her"O..Ok"He walked over to the barrel and saw a key sticking out from under it.He grabbed it and walked back over to her.
When he walked back over to her he looked down at her slightly"How did you know there was a key there?"
Kyo looked up at him slightly"One of the guards left it there just to try and prove that I was a demon"
"I see,well then lets get you free"Ryu stuck the key in the lock but when he did the key broke.
Once Kyo heard the key break her eye twitched some"How the heck...DO YOU BREAK A KEY!!?"
Ryu scratched the back of his head some"Well uhm...you see it wasn't my fault..the key must have been rusted or somethin"He laughed nervously to himself.
Kyo glared at Ryu slightly "The key wasn't rusted you just broke it" She sighed slightly seeing a piece of the key on the ground.
"Don't worry I can still free you"Ryu grabbed a small pocket knife out of his pocket"I always carry this with me just in case"He started to pick the lock.
Kyo kept still as Ryu picked the lock just in case he was clumsy with the knife like he was with the keys.
After awhile of messing around with it Ryu managed to get the chains off."There we go"He closed the knife and put it back in his pocket.
"Thanks"Kyo stood up and rubbed her wrists some"Glad those are off"
