ALL-STATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Oh my god.
It was amazing. You do not even KNOWWWWWWWWW
I want to do it again.
Because there are these three people, and we are like a group, and we all agreed to practice our BUTTS off until we make all-state next year and we can see eachother again.
Because I miss them all already.
We sounded AMAZING too. Like, I will die when I go back to my crappy band.
Soo, our group consists of Alex(GIRL CLARINET), AJ(the other bari), Me, and Nile(Bass clarinet).
Yeah, weird order. Thats the order we sat in too.
But i dont care because I got to meet them and we are friends now. =)
Soo yeah.
When I get my allstate cd(the recordings of what we played at the concert. basically LIOVE recordings),
I'll be listening to it all the time. =)
I love the songs. They are pretty. Sadly, they took out Hungarian Dance No. 5 because there wasn't enough time.
The whole band loved that song too. )=
But, oh well. We played Asian Folk Rhapsody.
It's going to suck that our group will go to school and someone will say something and we will all laugh.
And it will be an inside all state joke that noone will understand. )=
That makes me saddddd. )=
But I'm not explaining any of them to anyome because they are between us, so noone NEEDS to get ip but me and nile and aj and alex.
=) I never have inside jokes that only I get, so that makes me happy.
But I know my group will catch on and be annoying and laugh at it like they know what I'm laughing at and act like they were there.
But w/e. It happens alot.
But i dont really care. I can't. It will be pointless.
But My lip hurt so bad on friday. 13.5 hours of practice in 2 days.
I had sores on my lip. And I still do. I have a picture of it, and it's badd.
But I'd do it alll over again. Because I had an amazing experience that taught me so much.
I learned how to become a better musician and i learned alot on how to fit in the sound of the band. I get it now.
And I just learned alot.
And my conductor was awesome. He was ANIMATED.
I mean, he danced to our songs and for one he made up lyrics. =)
And for two of them (maybe more) he came up with a story.
He was amazing.
Sooooo, I'll go now. I'll explain to my friends on monday.
I'm soo excited TALKING about it. it was an experience NOONE understands.
I dont care what you say. Nobody has had that experience before.
