>family background: Areux was raised in a well-disciplined family. His father whom was also a general, was,however, more involved in his life and tried to raise his son to fight for what he believes in but to learn self-control and tranquility. Areux found his father to be weak for his beliefs. His apetite for war and adventure increased as he grew older. Eventually he had tasted his first victory in a battle against Dark Elves when he was 19. He fought along side his father until the "Great General Gerard Cohen" was killed by a Dark Elf. This lead to a hatred for the race and inevitably, Areux had grown wiser and stronger...more determined to walk in his father's footsteps but in a higher, much more fearsome manner .

>birth place: Isle de Gambino until he was 5 years of age. His parents left for Barton and eventually when he started his own militia, he tranferred to Halloween Town with his pregnant wife and platoon.

Lucille Cohen: Deceased Wife
His wife was actually a Dark Elf...though she had drank a potion that altered her appearance for his sake. (Unknown to him until after they're married.) He loved Lucille deeply and even when he found out she was a Dark Elf, he continued to love her...though he never told a soul, including their daughter, Emily. Lucille was great with magic, bad at everything else...She was a free-spirit, a gentle, loving, mother/wife. She was later killed by a furious DarkElf whom felt she was traitor for turning herself into an Elven for the sake of a DarkElf hater.

Emily Cohen: Daughter
Areux's daughter, his one and only child. He was disappointed when she came into the world. He had prayed and hoped deeply for a boy to walk in his footsteps...but unfortunately for him, he was blessed with a daughter. Though he showed little affections, he still loved the little girl with unconditional love. Despite her gender, he still raised her to be a warrior anyway! She made lieutenant when she hit 30.

note: Lately, Areux's been a little more leniant and watchful of his daughter. Hoping she finds the happiness he knows she deserves. Emily,however, hasn't noticed this.

Anton Cohen: Adopted Son
Areux had immediately ran off to adopt a young boy when he set eyes on his newborn baby girl. He had to have a son. There were no "If,and,or,buts" about it. Anton seemed to get most of Areux's time throughout his life. Anton was a proud Colonel of his father's army and surely Areux was the apple of his father's eye. Anton never let that get to his head though. When his adopted mother, Lucille, died, he took on role of parent for little Emily when she was 9. He's very protective. Now that he's 40 with a wife and two children, he's got alot on his plate.

Side note: His army now consists of 2,590 gaians! With a guess that non-personnel living in Halloween Town are slim...like...30. These people travel and supposedly help other law enforcement...(Ranks,units, and personnel issues with that....>_> wink
