When an Elemental Child is born, there needs to be a represenitive from each element; Fire(& lava), Ice(& snow), Water(& storm), Earth(& wind), Light & Dark, and last but not least, Thunder & Lightning. If even one rep. isn't there, the child will live a short life.
When I was 3, I learned of the custom. I thought it was nothing special, intill I herd from the maids(who loved to gossip) talking about the day of my birth.
While they cleaned the room, the oldest maid, Jesabel, said, "I herd the Queen didn't want an Heir," she paused, scaned the room, then wisperd, "I herd she rather of died than give up the Crown".
When I herd this, I couldn't believe it. My own mother, hating me. I wanted to know the truth, so I asked The Royal Butlar, Chrisco of The Ice Relm, who knew everything that was said in the palace.
So I went up and asked Chrisco, "What did my mom say when she found out she was going to have me?" He stood stiff still as a board. So I asked him again, " Tell me! Pleese!" I gave him the puppy eyes! He still didn't respond. Come ON! No one can resist my puppy eyes! If I really wanted to know, I only had one thing left that always worked. I had to act like a brat and demand in my future queen strong voice. So I took a deep breath, then I demanded, " As your FUTURE QUEEN, I DEMAND you tell me what YOU know ABOUT WHAT my Mother said when she found out she was going to have ME!!!!!!"
Chrisco sighed. Then said, "I guess you have a right to know...." he cleared his throat, "... your mother said that she wasn't going to invite the Rep. of Fire And Lava. Then lie and said the rep. didn't want to come because she didn't want to see the birth of an 'Ice b***h'. Luckally, your father told the Reps. about your birth date or you wouldn't be here today. Now," he stated like I just asked what the date was, " The 'future queen' should be outside paying with friends instead about worrying about what would of happend." So I got kicked out of my own palace. But I was deep in thought on the way to get my shoes and coat from my room. My mom didn't want me, she rather be queen than have me, and she would kill me to keep her from giving me the crown. From then on, I watched my back around my so called "Mother".
