You Are Me and You Are Thee
With my own battle of depresion,
I start an new internal session
the darkness that leers inside of me,
is not that clear for anyone to see
please except me for who I am,
Or i'll close up again like a clam
The pearl safe inside my shell
Is a dark dark secret I will not tell
The more I tell those who actually care
I only tell them this for my well care
If I let this secret out my soul seems to get lighter
My feelings and friendship's trust get even tighter
This light, it's breaking through my shell
The glass case in which it was held has fell
My personality is coming out
Please forgive me if I shout
I wish it wouldn't hurt so much
I really hope you accept my expression such
It's really quit amazing yes
It's the real me but a little less
It's coming back I see it now
It's coming just a little over the brow
Now that I see that this is me
I'm am you and you are thee
You accept me for who I must be
