Pain. Embarassment. Regret. |

I was in Gym, and we had to do Pacers (Consecutive rounds of non-stop running across a basketball court) for our fitness tests and whatnot. I, as many people know, always feel sore in the legs and a bit stomach sick after running longer than half a minute, but I had refused to do my last three pacer tests, so I HAD to do this one or I'd start failing the class.
So I was like, "F***! Fine, whatever! -pouty face-", and after about the 10th round (girls had to do 25, boys 40) my legs started to give out a bit, but I had to keep goin, and I did, and nearly collasped when I was done. After that, I went to go sit down, because my legs were so sore, standing up was too much to handle. As soon as I sat on that cool asphalt ground, every muscle in my body just seemed to lock in on itself, muscles tightening and knotting and feeling as if they're ripping and stredding to pieces.
And THIS is where the pain began. my breathing got all choppy, ragged, clotted. my friends tried to help me up, get me to the nearest watter fountain, but my throat was so dry, so closing in on itself slowly, it hurt to swallow, to breathe. When we got to the girl's locker area, I started to cry, not boohoo cry, tears were rollin like avalanches, but all you could hear from me were heavy breaths, sniffles (runny nose) and me begging for the pain to stop.
My sister told me to go to Coach Lockheart and tell him I needed to go to the nurse's office. So me and my friends Codii & Michael walked me over to him, spectators whispering amongst themselves, wondering why the usually happy and random little black girl was hunched over in tears. Once we found him, we had to wait several minutes for fatass to get off of his cellphone
