Short story
this a story i wrote for english.hope you like it

Near an old village laid a field that was inhabited by bodies drowning in their own blood. In the middle of the mayhem, a dying girl lay. A spear had hit the interior of her body and pierced her warm heart. On the far end of the field an old blind man crawled out from under bodies. He pulled his time worn body to the crying dying girl and wrapped his arm around her.
“You poor thing why are you crying?” he spoke. The girl looked up at him with a worry eye.
“ I’m paying for my sin…” Otara paused for a moment, sighing heavily then continued in a broken voice, “You see… I’m the demon who killed all these people.”
“Demon you say but I can’t find? I only hear a girl who is damned. What makes you believe such lies?” the man spoke in a calm gentle voice. The girl looked hard at him for a long time, and opened her mouth to speak only to quickly close it. After a few minutes Otara began to tell her story.
“The sin of the earth is who I am, too pure for hell and too tainted for heaven. I am a holy evil looking for my salvation that I was deprived from at birth. It all started when Lucifer was thrown out from heaven and started the great wars. Demons and angels fought brutally against one another; their blood rained from the sky which flooded the earth.
“Artemis was one of the strongest captains in Lucifer’s army. He was highly respected and his power was unmasked. He had no weaknesses…but one. Her name was Athena, an angel whose beauty surpassed any mortal and high ranked assassin for God’s army whose was sent to kill Artemis. On the night of the bloodstained moon she hid in the captain’s room waiting for him to come home from his gory battles. But the plan went horribly wrong once she crawled out to strike him, their eyes met and love burst from their hearts. They knew this love was forbidden but it didn’t matter to them. And I was the outcome of that sin. Once Lucifer found out about their love he sent armies to kill the three of us. They surrounded our house and tore their away in and killed my father. In the last moment of my mother’s life she cast my body to earth away from this evil. My mother and father’s blood stained the wood of their house that was cast in fire.
“Once I touched the earth I was on my own. No other demons wanted me since my purity melted their harden souls and any human ran once they saw me. I would have died those many years ago if it wasn’t for a minotaur that raised me. His arms would wrap around me for warmth and he would find food to feed me when I was hungry. He took care of me till I was seven and was able fend for myself. My hunting skills surpassed any demon and my speed even made the wind jealous. But even though my skills were untouched, I was an outcast of this world. No demon or human would befriend me and I was alone.
“I wondered this earth for many years looking for the one place I belonged, but it was never found. Many times I thought I would find it but it always turned into a bloody lie. The humans that I didn’t scare where more evil then I was. But I would not have known of it at that time. They told me I could join their salvation only if I was truly worthy. At this time of my life I was desperate and begged for any crumb of salvation, so of course I asked what would make me worthy. It was always a small thing to do like stealing an item that they found holy. Gold, scrolls, jewelry and strange sparkly rocks were only parts on my list that I was told to find by this man.
“Somehow every time I snuck into a sleeping village to find their holy items I was discovered. Even though I was faster then anyone there I always fell into their traps. I would be tied down and bounded by rope or chained to a wall. Then every soul in the village would come out from their homes to see my sin, even the one who sent me to this hell. The women would always gossip about the way I look. I had long golden hair and pale skin that matched my green eyes that I inherited from my mother. But I also had horns coming out of my head along with the snout of a beast and tribal makings all over my body that I inherited from my father. The top part of my body was like any of theirs but the lower half was one of a lion only will hooves. An odd mixture or experiment gone wrong was what people always thought of me.
“Every one in the village would then throw rocks and arrows at my helpless body and my blood would fall on to the earth. I beg them to stop for I fear what would come but they never listen to my warnings. With every cut made on my body my eyes would glow blue until they were engulfed by this strange blue glow. The glow shot out from my eyes and attacks everyone who had hurt my body but only 30 times worst and there was nothing I could do. Heads and body parts flew threw all around and blood danced in the air like ribbons. This was a power I was curse with from birth, a power I had no control of. My hands were cut free and I would fall to the ground, crying for every one around me that was dead.
“Things like this happen to me nine times out of my life but the tenth was different. I was curled up in a ball drenched in blood of the bodies around me. When a man walked into the village to find my sin, then looked at me with a puzzled face and asked why I was crying. I told him that my eyes would shed a hundred tears for every soul I just had taken. He put his warm, gentle hand around me and pulled me up. He looked in my eyes and told me there was no evil that lied there, and told of a place where monsters like me lived happily. I begged him to take me to this place, and with a smile he agreed.
“He told me he saw warriors along the road looking for me and the only way I can make it to this salvation was to hide in a small, metal cage he pulled behind him. Since I was a wanted monster these days I figured he wasn’t telling a lie so, I crawled into the small, cold, metal cage with itchy hay at the bottom. The iron bars were rusted and smelled like manure from the animals he kept here before me. He then draped a purple cotton fabric over the cage so no one can see me. We must have traveled for ten hours over the land until he finely made a stop.
“Joy and happiness flew over my body for I knew this was where my salvation would be. But when he pulled off the fabric I could only see many people staring at me. There was no one like me to be found but only humans. I quickly looked at the man with a frightened face. Once he saw this he burst out in a laugh then turned to the people.
“Everyone gather for I trapped the ugly monster who killed all our brothers and sisters. It is time now for us to avenge them. Don’t let this thing fool you with pity; she is a true monster and killer. Now as your new leader join me and let us kill this evil,” he shouted to the crowd.
“The crowd went wild and started throwing things at me. I tried to tell them to stop but no one ever listens. Without warning the blue glow shoat from my eyes and kill most of them and then broke the prison that I was trapped in. Right before the blue glow hit one of the men he threw a spear at me, and it hit. Once again I was covered in blood from all these people and mine. I hit the floor cried for every last one of them and from this pain I never felt before in my gut. Even though they might have deserved it, it was still a horrible way to die. Then the sky cried with me or for me and washed away the blood, the only symbol of my sin. I laid here in this field crying when you came up to me.”
The wind blew threw her hair and the old man stayed there deep in thought. Her blood surrounded her body with the spare still sticking out from her chest. Suddenly the man grabbed the spear and pulled it out of her limp body has she screamed and roared in pain.
“Thank you” Otara said almost in a faint whisper. She lost so much blood she didn’t even have the strength to move. They both stayed quit for a few minutes until the man finally spoke.
“You poor damned soul so worn and tired but maybe you salvation lays in death away from this world.” he spoke in sad but strong voice.
“Perhaps your right.” she spoke. Otara then closed her eyes with a smile on her face. A few moments later she died with the sunset shining on her now peaceful body, which still smiled.
