Recently, some Kings of Leon fans have been talking crap about their new album. They're saying that it's a disappointment, that KOL has disappointed them! But aren't those fans the ones we should be disappointed in? Only By The Night really is just showing how the boys have matured. I mean, back in the Youth and Young Manhood and Aha Shake Heartbreak days, they were basically a bunch of horny kids! (don't get me wrong, i LOVE those albums) But Sex on Fire was the turning point that got me started on Kings of Leon. OBTN was their first album that i bought, and i fell in love with every song. Then, i got Aha Shake Heartbreak and i love those songs too. I have yet to come across a KOL song that i DON'T LIKE. And I've also found out that when Youth and Young Manhood came out, i liked songs like Molly's Chambers and Red Morning Light, i just never knew the name of the band. This comes to show that new KOL fans can love their older music, and old KOL fans can love their new stuff as well. I'm glad to see that there are people that share my opinion, but it really irritates me when people are criticizing the Kings' new work. They're just growing as a band! True fans would stop bitching about it and either let it go or actually support the guys! This is their new sound, so like it, or get over it!
