PROLOGUE
Never foget what you are...You are my soul, the last living part of my body~you live long after I die... my father, John Aurier Aurixl, had said on his deathbed. I sighed and stared into the ever looming skies of Rouge, the "gateway of all hex", and regreted that the thought of my father had come up. The necklace that I wore glowed faintly as it felt a horrible presence behind me. I looked behind me and saw a man cloaked entirely of black. An emblem was implanted on the shoulder blade; the international sign for the Serpit Bandits, a group of murderers sent on all sorts of bounties. He wore a mask that showed off his glowing red eyes. "Never look back, James." that horrible man etched out from behind me. I craned my neck to see the terrible truth...A blade was pointed at my neck. . "Good bye, James Aurier Aurixl, it has been fun." And then the blade thrusted forward...

The assassin hid among the shadows and his voice was cold and lifeless. It held no tone, and it brought a shrill chill down my spine. Fear clung to me and seemed to curl and wrap around my frail body, laughing while it consumed my thoughts and brought my greatest fears forward to show to the killer. My body froze and I looked to my death with the eyes of a scared child, wanting to deny the cold truth and welcome to warm lies.
