I was minding my own business . . . (well as much as can be expected of a curious bird can) when a voice behind me whispered a "hello" and made me jump. Surprised at being caught off guard I was instantly interested in this gorgeous stranger with copper, coco, and rich brown scales as I was inspecting this stranger*snake and he I we talked of other things and found that though life in the air and life in the garden are different they are similar and so we became friends it was springtime and another became interested in me and I was fine with that until my best friend began to threaten to leave. You see at first I was sure he was with someone else and wasn't interested in me that way. Well this caught my attention and I left the other guy for him even though snakes and birds are very different. You see I'd done the unthinkable I'd looked in a snake's eyes and was captivated and helpless to free myself and the feeling of love and warmth soon was an addiction, something I couldn't shake free and didn't want to. And that in short is how wyverns came about and tend to have red highlights and blue eyes even though their snake heritage is that of copper and brown hues. ^_^
