If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? Yes, it does. It's simple to prove it. All you need to do is place a recorder in the forest around a tree that is going to fall at any moment. Press record and leave. Come back when the tree has fallen and viola! you've got it all on tape so all you have to do is press play and listen to it. And while you may not be there to hear it, there are forest creatures!! They hear the sounds of the forest....there's no doubt that when a tree falls, it makes a sound. Case closed. Thank you. Bye.
