When Jennifer and I met up, we decided to get a hot dog before going into the movies, it's cheaper outside the theatre. Turns out that the idea was a bad one. Gigi was right across the street.
"s**t..." I couldn't help but mutter it.
"What's wrong sweety?" Jennifer grabbed my arm.
"I just remember that we're gonna be late is all, lets walk a bit faster."
"okie-dokie hon." But it was too late, Gigi looked back, and saw her on my arm, and I let go as fast as I could.
"What happened Luis?!" She was a little surprised.
"Just a quick pain in my arm, that's all."
"Aww... I kiss it better?" She was going to give me a kiss. I backed away.
"No thanks Jen."
"Ok then my love."
When we were in front of the theatre, that's when Gigi showed up.
"Hey there Luis! What's up?"
"Hey Gigi! Meet Jennifer! She's pretty nice." I had to introduce them quickly. Jennifer stuck out her hand...
"Nice to meet you Gigi!" She smiled.
"Nice to meet you too." She smiled a fake smile, and shook Jennifer's hand.
"Damn it I wish I brought enough money for you to come Gigi. Sorry." I had to make it look really convincing.
"Oh it's ok Luis. Maybe we can go to the movies together some other time." She hugged me and kissed my cheek. I smiled at her and winked at her while my face wasn't in sight of Jennifer, and whispered, "Don't worry, she's just a friend." And I kissed her cheek.
"Well, see you later baby!" s**t! Why'd she say baby? Good grief. Then came the inevitable question, which was soon bound to erupt in a Approximately 3,2,1...
"Why did she call you baby?" I wasn't going to lie to her.
"It's a long story, about an hour and half story. And it's very hard."
"What?"
"I meant very hard to tell." I laughed a little bit, "Don't get worked up Jen." But I sure as hell was extremely worked up. While we were watching the movie she held my hand.
"You're so tense..." She said, she leaned toward me and gave me a gentle kiss on my cheek. I looked around the theatre to see if Gigi was there, but she couldn't have gotten in without a ticket. I turned my head toward Jennifer. I gently kissed her lips. And her tongue slipped into my mouth. One thing I couldn't let happen... Gigi killing Jennifer if she found out.
"I love you Luis..." She whispered while her lips were still against mine.
"I love you too Jennifer..."
