Normally i dont ever right any poetry whatsoever, but i had this pop in my head while i was trying to sleep and watching shamwow infomercial and this one popped in my head in its entirety (its messed up i know, i work in mysterious ways)

anyways here goes:

I see you staring off to the sun upon green fields
The excitment to see you glowing in it sends me chills
You turn to notice me stride to you
The smile on your face as you turn tells me you had know clue
The feeling of your embrace when I arrive
Assures me to know that ive found whats mine
As we hug and lose ourselves in time
I see that your eyes open wide

I look back to see
I brought the vicious storm of the rain that follows me
The thunder roars with past echoes of my life sending shivers down your spine
I try my best to reassure you everything will be fine
You nod and comply that you feel alright
I cant seem to shake this malestrom with all my might
The sun that beamed down to sparkle in your eyes
Got lost in the shade of covered night

The drops of rain that run down your face
Are the tears i can never erase
Its grey all around and i can fortell the fate
Bringing gloom is my worst trait

You stand there cold, shaking, and scared
I hold you and realize what ive done isnt fair
You kiss me in the rain when it starts pour
Your everything I long for

Lightning begins to dance around us to strike us in reject
Ever having bringing these clouds of doom is all i regret
The lighning rod youve become
Makes me step away and succumb
I take the jolt from the bolt and its so frightening
Now im riding the lightning

Im up in the clouds that claim me where i belong
Somehow it doesnt feel so wrong
Youll always find me where i sleep above the storm
As I depart with my scorn

Dont worry my love even though I depart in such little time
I will blow you a kiss goodbye
Ill leave you a majestic rainbow behind
The suns rays sparkling through my clouds demise shall put the sparkle back in your eyes

Let the sun touch your soul
I want to leave you as you were when you were whole
Im gonna sleep like a whispering rolling thunder riding the skies
Im heading off to where the clouds go to die
