This came to me when I finished a test early.
Time
Creak.Creak
Tick,tock.Tick,tock.
Yawn.
Silence. Not going to happen.
The sounds of the class,
for the last hour of the test
finished early,
looking around
wishing the tick, tock would go faster.
Looked over every sum twice
bored my brain to tears.
Nothing to do. Nothing to say.
Not ALLOWED to do anything.
Not ALLOWED to say anything.
I watch the clock
and listen to the Tick, Tock.
I wish this would end
so time can go back
to moving at breakneck speed
and tormenting us all
until our dying day.
That will happen all to soon.
