Hokaii...
Two years ago we had just begun to organise out year 10 formal. Now, i am the least girly-girl you could probably find, but i found a gorgeous blue dress in a store (called Noni-B) that i just HAD to get. It was beautiful. So i put it on lay-by.
About 2 weeks later we were told that not enough people had paid for the formal, so it was cancelled. I was soooo disappointed. I had to get back my deposit and leave the dress in the store. There was no point buying a $180 dress to sit in a closet. Last year, i was invited to my aunt's friend's formal-dress birthday, so i had to buy a dress. I got a nice black dress. I planned to wear this to my year 12 social. The last function i would have at school.
Today i was out. Brought some DVDs and such, and i was past a store with a big sign saying "final clearence - Noni-B". A familiar-looking dress was out the front. It was a frightful green, but it was the same dress, none the less.
I went in and asked if they had it in blue and they couldn't find one. I was on the verge of Then i spot a really pretty blue.
Last one.
My dress. My colour. My size. Half price (due to the clearance).
It was meant to be!!!
But i didn't have any money sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop
Mummy to the rescue!!!! I heart that wonderful woman so much and cannot thank her enough!
So, now, i am on a massive high and can't wipe the smile off my face biggrin
(I've just realised how much of a soap-oprah i just made that seem rofl )
