It’s Called Christmas
The same every year
Presents, candles, and a whole bunch of cheer.
But the main part of Christmas
Is the one person many never see
The one who comes down your chimney and puts presents under your tree.
Some say he’s fat
Some say his cheeks are rosy,
But his job stays the say.
Cheer in the morning of that Christmas day.
New packages to open
To lighten up your day.
His name is Saint Nick,
Santa Clause
Whatever you may call him.
The smiles on faces
The brighten of faces
And the laughter of people
Is his reward.
So this year sleep tight
Through this cold Christmas night
And hope for Saint Nick to bring you cheer.
Because it’s almost that time of year.
It’s called Christmas.
