Whewt! got back from crue fest last night! at 1:30 in the morning none the less o3o
AGH I MUST TYPE ABOUT IT!!!!!!
oh my god, it was ******** mind blowing! The bands were so good and it was sooooo looouuudddd 8D
Charm City Devils were on first. of coarse since they were only opening and only a few people had showed up and were still waiting, me and my aunt were happy and jumped up with the few other people and cheered for 'em. Cause we did the lead singer and guitarist both pointed and sang at us, the guitarist threw the metal horns at us >3< even though they were only an opening band they were pretty good...
The drowning pool came on... oh drowning pool how i love you heart
They were hard, loud and fast. Again only a few people had flooded in so when they played one of my favorite songs, 37 stitches, i stood up and sang my heart out and cause of my love, the guitarist and bassist saw and noticed me <3 <3 <3 now their closing song i will never forget. They played bodies, another favorite of mine. As they started playing, it started raining. HARD. I was drenched as me and my aunt and dad sang our hearts out and head banged to it. None the less when they finished, the rain stop. It was such a perfect end for them. After Theory of a Deadman went on (i'll talk about them next) right as they finished, i was so lucky enough that my dad had gotten a drowning pool package so i got to meet the band 8D I expected them to be kinda tired or for the meet and greet to be really quick. it wasn't! They were all so nice and chatted with us and took photos with us (i'll post pics of the concert and me with the band tomorrow) The bassist and guitarist were super nice and talked with me through alot of the meet and greet, they both told me they saw me when they played 37 stitches making me a very happy person. They signed a poster for me, i got pics with them, and a free shirt. ahh so amazing!!!
Then before we went to the meet and greet, Theory of a Dead Man preformed <3
Surprisingly for a newer band they sounded pretty good! I missed the last bit of them to go to my meet and greet, but they were still really good ^.^
And then.... Then there was Godsmack... oh my god they blew my mind... By then most of the crowd had flooded in and it was loud. Sully even did a huge drum solo with the original drummer during the song Voodoo. OHHHHH SO GOOOD. They were hard core awesome and sounded great. I would always scream louder when Sully came over to my side of the stage too. They played a bunch of my favorite songs and even had some pyrotechnics to make it cooler. They along with Drowning pool were my favorites of the night <3
Last but certainly not least, MONTLY CRUE! ^o^
only one word. wow. these guys are probably in their 50's and they still sound as good as they did 30 years ago...
They opened with Dr.feelgood, one of my favorites, and they were all dressed in doctor uniforms. The lead singer was hidden in a giant wheel chair they pushed on stage and he jumped out in a straight jacket and blasted into the song. They had the classic nurse stripper girls in the back dancing (which i do have to admit, there was a very cute blonde up there <3 ) We got 3/4 through their preformance then had to leave unless we wanted to be stuck in traffic for hours on end...We still got to see most of it and it was so ******** amazing!!!!
AHH
now it is the next day. My throat is torn, my whole body aches, and my ears are ringing... it was the best night of my life heart
and there we are! that was my concert! I will post pics tomorrow when i finish getting them developed <3
now i gotta go nap, im still exauhsted from it all!!!
