Today's Weather: hot

So I find out that the internet in my dorms are incredibly fast from morning to around 3:30, then incredibly slow after that. Not helping me trying to do Daily Chance in zOMG!

So today, classes start. I had computer science before noon, and I had the same class as a girl on my floor, so we had breakfast together with her boyfriend and be both left together on bike to class. What's strange about the location of the class is that it's in the Theater building, which is really strange ... Anyways, the professor was cool and she gave us a demonstration on how a computer works based on what you direct it to do. As I seen before, computers are not as intelligent as you think, since it is dependent on user input and commands. The demonstration was our professor making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with the class giving commands on how to do it. It's much harder than it sounds obviously if you know computer programming.

The next class was writing. Seems to be great, and there's no final for it, as we just have to compile work into portfolios. I hope I do well, especially with thesis statements and such.

I attended a meeting for Desk Assistant application in my dorms. I plan on being one since I can take on the tedious tasks and help out people. I also have a pleasant demeanor, so I hope that will help. After the meeting, I applied online, and I'll have to wait a week to find out if I can get an interview. I hope being the Master of Tediousness will pay off.

Tomorrow afternoon, I'm going home. That's great, but my sister told me there's ants in the computer room. It's been 3 months since the last time we used Insect Spray in the house, although we didn't spray in the computer room. Anyways, it sucks because I already vacuumed the house before I left, and still the ants are around and about. I just hope when I get back, they're gone for good or at least I'll take care of them.

I finished watching NGW's guide on Halo 3: ODST. Due to what I mentioned before about the internet, I couldn't finished watching all the clips due to the incredibly slow internet at certain times. Worse, they finished uploading the guide in less than a day. xp

Unfortunately, YouTube removed the Rurouni Kenshin videos and banned the person who uploaded them. On the bright side, there's still alternatives, so I better finish watching fast!

Fine day overall, but the internet speed is killing me.
