Zaine tends to be very sociable and loves to be the center of attention. He hasn't experienced tragedy due to the war, but knows that the tragedy is very real and can happen to anyone. His world revolves around himself, but he isn't selfish - just a suffering from an inflated ego (as his sister often reminds him) He tends to cheer everyone up and likes to hang out with people from other cities to enhance his skills and learn more about people different from him. Like most, Zaine doesn't like Lannah, and tends to make witty comebacks she can't outwit. He has been on the force for seven years, and loves being asked for advice about battle situations so that he can flaunt his knowledge and 'strut his stuff,' if you will.

Age: 28
Zaine's younger sister joined the war three years ago, and proves herself as a very capable and strong warrior. She is very fond of her older brother and would put herself in harms way to protect him. Along the way, she finds herself becoming a close friend of Naomi's. She is really outgoing, but not as much of a glory hound as her brother.
Jarah
Age: 24
After losing her father in the war and her mother committing suicide, it's a wonder Jarah is as cheerful as she is. She and Xia have become fairly good friends because of their overly-optimistic attitudes. In fact, she has few enemies inside the force, though everyone thinks the General is an inch away from forcing her to leave. Despite her happy attitude, she 'has felt the war harshly,' as Xia says, though she rarely shows her sadness in front of people. Rather than a large sword, she prefers a smaller dagger-like weapon.
