I've always said I'd like to write, but never showed my friends (though some can remember ~) anyway, please enjoy this short journal 3nodding

Warmth
It was dark, and the chilly winds swept messy, black curls in a ruckus. Shivering, I swallowed the cold air coating deep in my throat, causing my nostrils to flare a slight cherry red. I walked a couple of miles into the new road of the street, hoping somehow, snow would reach the dreary roads of the city Jacksonville.
The world seemed quiet for once, the homes made no squeak of uncertainty, nor loud bass music cars would bellow from a mere block away. Alone, I continued my random journey onwards to the next block of another street. "Jayhawk," I whispered surprisingly, taken back at the sudden softness chiming from inside me. Surely I haven't walked this far in my life before! But it was rather exciting, seeing the dull flickering lights of the lamp post standing, almost like tall sentries guarding dark allies constantly. My hands had also shocked me by rummaging though my pockets, pulling out a blue cell, sparkling and ready to be used.
I sighed, momentarily chuckling before opening the phone, browsing for a caller to greet. Sooner than later my eyes peered down at the displayed letters.
Derrick
A frown quickly etched into my face. 'It just wouldn't seem right to call him now,' I pondered silently, hearing the small jingle that made my pupils widen more in mirth.
Sebby
It had been quite awhile since I talked to him, and the chat was needed sooner than later, since my gloved finger tips pressed down on the "Send" button with a very quiet 'tap'.
A moment passed.
Beeep.
The cloudy breathing stilled for just a minute.
Beeep.
Finally, with a second not wasted came a cautious voice that seemed rather curious.
"Hello?"
Smiling I whispered like a child,
"Why, hello there Sebastian."
With that, I continue down the street lanes, not noticing the sudden white snow falling downwards from the midnight sky.
