the tune rings
and sings
of the things
that you find
after it rains outside.
and they glide like
the high tide glides to the seashore
when the waves calm after the storm.
they tell tales of war and peace
of foe and friend
when the current bends
and everything's okay again.
the white of your eyes
looking to the sky
as you lie on the ground and cry
because the tune makes you sad.
and happy. and mad
anxious. calm. excited uninterested
confused informed
loved
hated.
the fingers of time flowing over the back and white
piano keys.
and the tune rings.
sings.
glides-
and you wake. and everything
is gone.
