Why... do people grow up?
Why do they make things, and build cities, and care for living things, and sing songs?
People are born with all of these things inside them... they are endowed with the power to make something from nothing. Thats the generative force. The power of growth, as a child becomes an adult... the power of creation as their bodies produce breath and sweat and their hands work to make fire...
The power of cultivation, as they grow seeds and animals and all living things... The power of creativity as they produce fine art and scholarship in pictures, songs and science... All people have the ability to generate substance out of nothingness. They live and grow and develop... the possibilities are limitless.
