The rain cleared out to a light mist as they neared a well put together home in a small neighborhood.It was made of bricks,like an old family home you would see on tv.
The girl stared at the home as they walked closer,watching as the boy knocked on the door with a few loud bangs.
"Hey!Open up the door will ya!"Ryu yelled out to the door as it it were actually listening BANG BANG BANG he set off another round of knocks this time someone swinging the door open
"Quit your banging I heard you the first time!"A girl stood in the doorway,glaring at both of the people but moreso at the boy.She paused noticing that he was holding her"Geez Ryu you went ahead and kidnapped a girl...HEY MOM LOOK WHO RYU BOUGHT HOME!"
Ryu rolled his eyes at the girls statement,pushing her aside alittle to get inside the house,immediatly feeling the warmth it brought.The girl was about a few years younger then what Ryu was,her hair was a light brown that ran to her shoulders along with her eyes
Once the door was closed a young woman came to the door,staring at all the kids"Oh my,Ryu what happened?"She stared at him,being alittle concerned
He let out a soft chuckle before answering"Nothing mom,I just got caught out in the rain with m-"It was at that point Ryu noticed he didn't know the girls name
"Your what?"His mother blinked at him curiously before turning her eyes toward the girl being held on her sons back
"Oh I know!Its his girlfriend!"The younger girl teased and poked at him childishly as she grinned
"What no!Of course not!"Ryu glared at the girl"Yuko go away go to your room!"He glared at her even more as she started to laugh
Within all the yelling the girl slid down from his back"My name is Kyo"Her voice was soft as she looked at the woman,her eyes filling with the warmth of the house
The woman stared at the girl,moreso at the way she was standing leant against Ryu alittle but trying to make it seem as if she didn't need to"Your ankle,somethings wrong with it"
"Oh I guess you two overlooked the part that uhm...WE'RE SOAKING WET!!!!"Ryu growled at both of them
His mother turned her head to the side as she cosed her eyes"Well excuse me for trying to help,I won't bother you anymore"
Ryu shook his head slightly as he headed up the stairs with the girl,stopping once he got towards the middle"Thanks mom"He smiled down at her before continuing his trip upwards.
He sighed softly as he walked towards a closed door,keeping his hand around her waist to help not put any pressure on her ankle.Soon pushing the door open with his foot and flicking on the light switch
Kyo looked around the room slightly,watching as to where he was putting his hands"...."
Ryu sighed softly to himself as he walked over to his bed,sitting her down on it"Well then Kyo,sorry about my mom and my sister...they're a bunch of screwballs"He laughed softly before glancing over at her"I can imagine your family must be like that too"
Kyo only stared at his face as he smiled"..."She never bothered saying anything on that subject
"...Not to talkative are we.."Ryu rubbed the back of his head as he pulled a first aid kit from under his bed "Why am I always stuck with the wierd ones?"
