I felt I needed to put in a journal entry this weekend, seeing as I've been having mind-numbing frustrations with the wi-fi in my squadron's dormitories. This week has also been one of the most active ones I've had recently.. It's led me on a lot more thinking than I thought I'd have, so here's my splurge!
I suppose all of it has started off with getting baptized in Basic Training.. I knew I was missing out on something by not choosing this earlier, but I'm starting to feel as if I'm meant to do something special. It's hard to explain, and I honestly don't want to go into it.. Revelations like this are hard to justify to others so early on. Maybe I should speak to a chaplain soon.
Things have been looking up, though! I've been adjusting to class and have now entered the "college phase" of tech training. There's a whole jumble of emotions and ideas that are rising up and falling down, and I'm sorry to say that I can't really describe them all in full detail.. yet. Here's one, though: "We define ourselves by the actions we carry out." Think about that one when you get the chance. wink
Our class has been wicked smart overall, by the way! We've maintained a 90% or higher average on each block test we've had thus far! That's definitely something to get excited about. And it's a small class of about 13 people, so it's obvious that we're all friends more or less. Wicked fun, yep yep! mrgreen
I think that's it for now, to be honest. Keep it real, peepsters! Now I've got to go get my laundry finished. burning_eyes
