What is your definition of a friend?
My definition of a friend is someone who is:
Faithful. No matter what situation arises, they are there through good and bad, tears and smiles, joys and sorrows, Successes and failures, and happiness and heartaches.
Respectful. They are considerate of your thoughts, feelings, emotions, and opinions even when they don't always agree with them.
Irreplaceable. They are those oh so special people that God places in our lives that no other person can hold a candle to.
Encouraging. They know our hopes, dreams, goals, and wants in life. Whether it is a few words of inspiration, a hug in passing, or just the occasional pat on the back, there support is endless and knows no bounds.
Nonjudgmental. They see our flaws, short comings, imperfections, screw ups, and flat out disasters and never speak one unkind back stabbing word.
Down right fantastic. They are those totally awesome people who we feel like we don't deserve to have in our lives, but heck..nobody else deserves them either!
