Inspired by: A character made for this group roleplay.
Plot: Ambrose was once a powerful demon that thrived to be even more power than he already was. He would lose himself in his ways of training and making his way up the ladder until he was right hand to the Demon Lord himself. Given more power over the other demons only made him go crazy with power. Ambrose would laugh as he watched the torture of his fellow demons and smile to see the sight of blood. He made it as close to the top as possible and nearly maxed out his sins of pride and greed. It wasn’t enough for him to be close to the top, he wanted to be the leader of the demons and challenged Lucifer. It was a bad idea and he found the hard way that he was no match for Lucifer. The rest was a blur to him, he forced himself to forget the torment and humiliated he went through, but it was far from over with.
Lucifer gave his soul to some aging wizard who didn’t look a day over thirty. His instructions were simple: place the demonic soul into the body of the ugliest doll he could make and try to sell him in his strange shop. The wizard was meant to do one last thing to ensure that he’d be humiliated forever; make it so if someone could break his spell that Ambrose would be trapped in a body of a child and forced to be a doll at night.
The once prideful demon was a doll with a hideous appearance and even worse, would appear a child if the spell was somehow broken. He was a frightening and horrible doll that no would want to buy and so, he remained on the dusty shelf wondering if he would forever be trapped in this horrible form. Stripped of his powers and revenge on the brain.
Your character happened to stumble across a strange shop one day and spotted the strange looking doll. There was something that told him to buy it, despite it’s horrible appearance.
Note: If you don’t want your character to be a human, go ahead and make them something else, it’s up to you. Their background, everything and that’s why I didn’t go into too much detail with your character.
