Dear Journal,

guess what happened?! okay, well my kitty just gave birth to four baby kittens! it was a total shock. Here's how it went down. My day was completely normal, until around like 8PM when my sister and I drove over to my mom's house to make some cookies. We were all sitting around in the kitchen, when my step-dad came in and said that Sophie had given birth. It was amazing, and I was really happy. We went to go look under the couch, and she was under there with her kittens. All of us heard the meow's the kittens were making. It was so innocent, and I was glad to have been alive long enough to witness something so beautiful. Life is very precious and when you see something like that. Life being born, it's really touching. Don't get me wrong or anything, I didn't cry. I just thought it was great that something that amazing happened in our lives.

I don't think we will be keeping all the cats though. We already have five, so four more would equal nine, and nine is just too much cats. My mom said that we might just keep them until they are old enough and then take them to the NSPCA. That animal place that shelters animals, gives them homes, etc. Journal, it was kind of funny, cause my mom didn't want to see. It wasn't gross. The kitchens were wet, sure, but she gave birth to three kids ( my mom ) and she finds kittens covered in kitty, gross? ha! that's my mom for ya.

I know this is off topic, but the cookies were delicious! we made about twenty cookies. Chips AHOY! for the win. I'm glad I was able to make them today. I think they're are about 13 cookies left. I hope some still survive til morning. I want to eat some more.

I really like when you bake something, when the people taste it, and they're expressions, comments, feelings..towards what YOU made..

I like the happiness it brings..
