Dear Journal,

this is some sad news..remember I told you that one of our cats, named Sophie, recently gave birth? well about three, four weeks later..she killed two of her kittens. I don't want to go into details but yeah it was some pretty horrible stuff. We had no idea that cats eat there young..if they are either a different scent, or..if it's too stressful. We decided to drop off Sophie and her 2 remaining kittens off at the church. The others we dropped off at the ASPCA..or whatever it's called. Now we only have Fifi, Booties, Cheyone & a new mother cat who lives under the house with her babies.
So yes, that's what happened journal. I never saw a dead animal before, at least not for so long. I saw a dead squrriel on the street when we were passing by on a car..but that was just for a few seconds. I saw the kitten for like..a whole three minutes. Yeah, you'd think "get over it" and I did. Life happens. Stuff like that happens..but it's just really sad and I hope that those kittens went to a happier place.

I'm kind of glad we have less cats now though..but I didn't want it to happen that way. Anyways..
