Ayu stood behind Shei, clutching his arm. "What do you mean, just begining. Where are we?" the old woman stood as well and walked over to them.
" The four of you have been chosen; you are the ones who will protect, risk, and save lives. Destiny calls upon you to be the saviors of this world. Therefore, it is clear that your journey is at the very begining." She held a serious expression on her face, looking at every teen in the eyes. Ari shook her head feirecly.
"Wait, destiny what? Saviors? Lady, we don't even know you! We're not a band of superheros, just teens. And ones that want to go home for that matter." The old woman shook her head slowly.
"I'm afraid that's immpossble. You've been here far to long to go back now; the only way back is to complete the assignment that's been given." Even more did they now looked frightened. Tomoyo spoke this time.
" And what exactly is this assignment? You weren't very clear on the whole 'savior' thing."
"Oh, I suppose I could elaborate on that a little more!" Again she laughed quietly, but only a few seconds before her came grim. "The matter at hand is very urgent, more than you can imagine, so I will try to be breif. You have been sent back in time, a time when the impossible was very possible. At this time there is something, or rather someone called the avatar. His job is to keep the four nations of water, earth, fire, and air at peace. But this avatar, the one currently alive, is being misled. Her very mind is being molded into one of evil by none other but a mistress of evil herself, Azula. Your job is to stop her and teach the avatar what it really means to be a hero, and teach her the elements. Each of you will learn an element, what of, will be defied by what happens." She stared at the dumbfounded teens.
"What the- how are we supposed to do all that?!" they screamed together. The old woman shrugged. "You will find out for yourself, the key lies in all of you." Her breathing started to get heavey. "I must leave you all now, I've also extended my time here." Sakura blossoms swarmed her and encirled her as an invisible wind swept them around her.
"Wait!" Ayu called. But she was gone. Ayu sighed and slid to the ground. "What do we do now?" Shei helped her back up.
"We look for help, that's what. The old hag isn't going to play her littlegame with us anymore." He lifted his chin and smiled at all of them with reassurance. "Come on let's go this way." Holding on to Ayu's hand he led the way. Tomoyo and Ari shrugged and followed. Several minutes past by before anyone said anything.
"You don't know where you're going, do you Shei?" Ari stopped in her tracks to stare him down, her icey glare stabbing him in the back. His head sunk low.
"No....but it should be.....right....." He let go of Ayu's hand and went through a bush. "Here!" He happily unzipped his pants and proceeded with his 'bussiness' . Sicken sounds were heard from all three girls. "Shei you're absolutely disqusting!" Ayu screamed. He laughed not caring. Tomoyo shook her head.
"This is one of the reasons why you can't get a girl, your looks and personality are disqusting!" Suddenly the galloping of a horse was heard, and soon in sight was a boy with regal demeanor, upon a black horse-thing.(The four had never seen a creature, they weren't sure what to call it) . He got off quickly, annoyance and anger in his eyes. He ran to where Shei had made his bathroom.
"Excuse me, sir, but what exactly are you doing urinating in my backyard. I assumed only animals did that." His voice was refined like a socialite's. Shei's embaressment was apparent.
"B-backyard?" He zipped himself up and stepped out. The boy would have grabbed him by the collar if Shei wasn't so dirty looking and if he didn't have a conscience.
"Thats right. You must be a foreiner. Otherwise you wouldn't dare tresspass on royal property and even dare to defile it with your waste." The boy looked at all of them with disqust. "In fact all of you could need a lesson in manners, none the lest fashion as well." Ayu stared at her clthes and his. She found nothing wrong with her jeans and t-shirt, but oviously style had a whole different meaning now. The boy mounted his horse once again. "I cannot stand anymore, follow me quickly if you wish to have some decent clothing." He began to ride off.
"Will there be food?" Tomoyo asked, stomach grumbling.
"I suppose there will be, but be quick before I change my mind." The foursome followed with watering mouths wondering what lied up ahead.
