I guess I could say right now that I miss Chi a lot. I left last Thursday morning at 2AM from NC and drove 10 straight hours to get back to my university. I pretty much cried like a b***h the entire way.
Distracting myself with Gaia is a good thing. I also found a job immediately upon returning home. Sunday was spent with the first of what will be very many 14 hour shifts.
I was productive though, finishing my first commission for undo-redo:
It was fun to do, she has really awesome original characters and I really got into it creating this piece for her. It was done on 11x14" Bristol paper in Copic markers.
I have to meet with some instructors in 6 hours to decide basically the course of the rest of my life. Am rather stressed about it.
Why do people fight, at all? Honestly? Do you and your boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife argue all the time? ... why? Do you argue for the sake of arguing? Do you ever think to yourself, "Let's talk this out and figure out our real issues.".
Chi and I have been witnessing the breakup of some mutual friends of ours, and it's kind of sad really that they kept up their relationship for so long where it was nothing but arguing. Yeah, I mean, I get into arguments with my spouse too, but if I'm like, "I don't want to watch this channel!!!" and we start bitching at each other, we take a step back and go "Woah wait, is the TV channel the actual issue? Let's talk."
I'm a ******** lucky b*****d to be with the person I am with.
