Dr. Mechaniker's Robotics Log
The details behind the doctor's workings regarding the Impending Robot Army.
Elite Close Combat Model

I expect that you think things are getting out of hand with this one. The extravagance of the Elite models continue to escalate, and this one certainly contains the highest amount of frivolous details. One arm is bare, while the other sports an elaborate sleeve. The helmet completely encases the head and evokes an angry downward stare. The torso armor is a criss-cross of metal and flaring shoulder pieces and then, of course, the deep red makes a return (a color that seems to be associated with my ground troops).

I am not ashamed of the design. The close combat model (CCM) is actually a favorite of mine, and I enjoy starting two of them up and watching them duel. I knew that the Elite model would have to outdo them in terms of agility, fighting prowess, and attack power. It was just a matter of finding the right armor and weapons.

Well, as you can see, I've started the Elite models because of the light and tough armor I've discovered. They each sport it and new reinforced bodies but, as you would expect, it's much more expensive and takes longer to produce. I knew I had my Elite armor, and I began on the FSM and Flight models. I saved the best for last (though this is not my final Elite model).

The Elite CCM is fast. It is fast enough on its own, but I’ve also installed powerful dash jets in the legs and back. The armor is light and tough, as I've said, but to maintain the speed aspect he is (like the CCM) lightly armored when compared to the other Elite. It's no exaggeration to say that this model is ten times faster than the regular CCM.

To go with its speed, of course, I needed a stronger weapon than the energy blade that is standard to the CCM. It may seem like a downgrade, but the weapon that I’ve dubbed the "circuit sword" is a solid blade with various mechanics throughout the blade. It charges itself with energy and uses an electromagnetic burst to actually draw it into metal objects. Basically, when it slashes or stabs, the blade takes it upon itself to pull itself into the object along with the power the robot puts behind it. So, take a knife, and cut a carrot. Now, imagine that knife took the power you put behind it to cut the carrot, and added forty or fifty more pounds behind that. This is a very dangerous blade.

Ah, but there's something else to top that all off: as I've stated in the other Elite notes; this model also uses the Hive Mind Program. However, this version of the program takes the sword combat into consideration. Where normal gun wielding robots can come together to attack a target, the sword wielders need to take things in a different direction. The program for the Elite CCM can actually form separate squads and work within other FSM groups and mop up excess enemies. On top of that, if the enemies are also melee combatants, the CCMs can form fencing ranks and fight in a group without hitting each other.

I can say with complete confidence that this is the most dangerous robot I've built, and that's even considering the MK II Cyborg that has gone missing. I'm fairly sure he's not out to hurt anyone. This Elite CCM however, is built to slaughter, and it is fully capable to do so.
