Selected journal entries of an unseen acquaintance: Part 1
There are certain truths that only we ourselves are capable of attaining from within. They are not boastful and conceited, nor are they spoken upon like the buzz of our latest trends circulating around the globe. They are what set you apart from the rest of your peers, the reasons why you are labeled an 'individual' if you choose to grasp them in a worldly society that seems to be moving ever consistently with no stops in between. I'm not one to impart any type of 'knowledge' to anyone whatsoever, these are merely observations in repose. These truths (or epiphanies) can be beautiful or tragic. It knows no race nor boundaries. They stem from our subconscious minds the very first day we decide to rebel against our own parents, guardians, elders or teachers. This is when we start to question ourselves and why certain things are well...the way they are. They can also sift above the surface of our minds anytime randomly in the future, unannounced and stealthily like a sudden spark ignited in the darkness of our loneliness. They are the results of unfortunate experiences and blessed ones. Your truths are your tattoos. They are scars and merit badges, the reasons why you exist today in a struggle against love and personal self worth. These truths are what make you beautiful when everyone else fails to see you as a wholesome individual. Wear them humbly or show the world of what you know.
