Once upon time, there lived the most beautiful maiden in all of the lands, Hey hair was as yellow, as gold with a ever so nice hint of brown, and her eyes as blue grey, as the morning night sky, her skin as white as porcelain, her lips were tender and as red, as Fresh rose petal's. She had a very special gift, which was sought after by many royals, when she cried, her tears were pure gold. Many men sought after her golden tear's and would make her fall in love with them, but to her dismay, they would break her heart , so they could steal her golden tears. Soon she lost trust in everyone.

Until one day she meet a wolf, now the wolf wasn't always a wolf, he was once human, a evil witch cursed him to take this form, due to he was to trusting and kind hearted and the witch was jealous of that, only true love could break this curse. But the wolf knew no one could, ever trust such a evil looking animal. The wolf was walking in the forest one night when he walked into a hunters trap, his paw was caught and he was injured badly, he thought this would be the end, he cried and cried, the beautiful maiden who was also walking in the forest, heard the sad cries, and went to see whats wrong, when she saw the wolf she was scared, but felt as if it would not harm her, now the wolf had never seen such beauty and fell instantly in love. The maiden being kind hearted help the wolf and let the wolf go.

After the wolf had the encounter with maiden, he could not stop thinking of her, he had fallen in love with the maiden, but knew the maiden would never love, him for he was a wolf, and she was human, but the wolf, was so in love with her, he would do anything to see her again, so the wolf deprived a plan, he went to the maiden's house, and went outside her window which had a curtain in front he hid, inside the bushes, the wolf was able to still talk, as if human so he called the the maiden "Oh maiden will you listen to me just for a minute" the maiden heard him and walked to the window, "who's there?" she called, the wolves heart beat in his chest when he saw her, "Oh gorgeous maiden, as soon as I saw you I feel in love, will you not speak with me?"
She knew this line before, but for some reason she felt as if it was the truth and she called to the mysterious voice "if this is what you want yes we may speak" her and the wolf spoke, for hours and hours they had many things in common, and the maiden felt herself falling for the mysterious man, the wolf although he wanted to stay had to leave before morning as so the maiden wouldn't not see him, so he left as mysterious as he came.

Each night the maiden was visited by the mysterious stranger, and soon she fell in love with him, he was everything she ever wanted in a man and she knew he was the one, every night she would try to see him, but to no success, till she came up with a plan, she got a scare crow and put it in her night gown, the mysterious man would come and call to her and she will not answer, she knew he would bound to go check on her. Soon she set her plan into motion, and she waited behind the well on the side of her house, soon she heard the bushes rumble, and the sweet voice of her beloved call out to her, she wanted to call back, but she had to see him, he called and called when finally she saw something exiting the bushes, to her horror, she saw the wolf, she had been lied to again, she ran from behind the well and confronted the wolf, "You lied to me, you made me fall in love with you, only so you could have my tears." the wolf was confused by this, since he did not know about her gift, the wolf pleaded to her, about how his love was true, he could not tell her of his curse, due to if he did, he would be struck dead. Soon the maiden started crying and her golden tears fell in her hands, as she wept, "Here take my tears, you can have them, along with my heart." she threw her tears at the wolf, and the wolf felt as if his heart and stopped for he had hurt the only one who ever truly loved him.

Even though the curse said, if he told anyone he was hexed he would die, he would rather die, then for her to cry, she was much to beautiful for tears and to be sad, the wolf sat down and looked at the maiden and said "I was once a man, but I was cursed with this body, but my love is true and my heart is pure, all I want is you, and all I want is your happiness" and the wolf died, the maiden ran to the wolves said and cried "What have I done, please come back, I love you for only you, not your form" and she kissed the wolf ever so gently on the nuzzle and cried one normal tear for the first time, the tear fell inside the wolves mouth, and from tasting it, he started changing into a man again, for she had broken the curse and he was granted life again, the maidens curse was also lifted, and the man got up and kissed the maiden and soon got married.
