What's your story?
- Quinn is from a family of four: him, his older brother, and his two parents. His nameless father and older brother, Mathias, have both done military service while his also nameless mother is more the creative hobbyist who volunteers at soup kitchens and such.
From his brother, he got little more than the notion that he was playing second fiddle, even when he was nice to Quinn. His father had basically already decided he was going to join the Army and that was a pretty solid "no" in Quinn's book. Perhaps he could have turned to his mother for back-up if she wasn't so set on having a creative child and saw so much possibility for an artist in her youngest son. He wanted to live his life the way he wanted it, his parents were playing tug-of-war through him, and Mathias thought it was shameful that Quinn wouldn't play along.
So yes, he is the black sheep of the family. Growing up in the shadow of Mathias and under the pressure of his parents, he got a strong sense of humor that doubles as his armor should anything go wrong. And, due to his lack of planning or apparent concern, it often did. He always got a laugh out of it, anyway.
Tell me about yourself
- Armed with jokes, Quinn faces the world with a lackadaisical attitude. He's a chatterbox and a bit of a ham, loving attention and preferring to be the most talented/best looking/in some way superior to at least one person in the room. Despite that, he's not arrogant, and he's actually rather friendly. Unless someone scares him, he'll be friends with anyone who will sit still long enough.
At most, others consider him as a little brother figure. At worst, they consider him an annoying, worthless whelp. Either way, he'll choose his own path sooner or later. Pressuring him or yelling at him is a surefire way to make him angry, which only results in him getting really quiet. If left alone, no one will ever hear of it--unless it keeps happening, then his passive-aggressive temper is likely to blow up.
What do you look like?
Average height and weight, brown hair and brown eyes, without a freckle in sight. In other words, there wasn't anything particularly striking about Quinn as he was meant to look. But since he couldn't stand to fall to the background, he impulsively decided one day to dye his hair white. And if that wasn't enough to get someone's attention, he shows a strong affinity for patterns such as stripes and plaid that isn't easy to ignore. The more showy something is, the more likely Quinn is to be found with it. Suit jackets, T-shirts, and jeans are the way his style usually goes. Maybe he'll put on a hat if it strikes him as a good idea at the time. Anyway, his favorite colors are mainly red and black, maybe some white in there too. But there aren't many he'd dislike aside from pink and yellow.

Let's just pretend that the first song is actually about pastries. There's Quinn for you. He can be drawn doing just about anything, so long as it's fun. As previously mentioned, he's had invisibility powers in his first roleplay, but obviously that doesn't lend itself to easy drawability. Only include it if you want to! Same goes for the whole "smoking" thing: don't draw it if you don't want to. I think he's an agreeable character to draw, especially with all of his eccentricities and otherwise childlike demeanor. I can easily picture him as a pirate, a singer, a guitarist, an actor, on a jungle gym, or wearing a pinstripe suit and a fedora...you probably get the idea. Seth Cooper: Best and only friend, quiet as a bread crumb and as easily misplaced as car keys. Who knows what keeps Seth around, but Quinn enjoys his company. He doesn't say horrible things to him, doesn't pressure him to do this or that, and he doesn't intimidate him in any way! Plus, he likes muffins. How could he go wrong with that? ...In short, he drags demure Seth every which way because he won't argue and that's the main thing he likes about him.
