"Keep firing! Keep 'em surpressed!"
"Got it." Chris shouted, he turned and sprayed the chain gun at the Elites.
Bryan hurtled over Chris' cover, his armor deflecting the bullets.
He met an Elite close up, he squeezed the trigger on his shotgun and the gun coughed out a spray of fire.
The Elite screamed in pain from the flaming slugs piercing into him.
"Move up!" Bryan shouted, "Go! Go! Go!"
Chris punched through the barrier that he had been hiding behind. That Juggernaut suit had made him not only bulky, but incredibly strong.
He slowly made his way up to Bryan, he peered over the edge of the terrace.
Bryan put his hand up to his ear, to turn his radio on. "Tanner you there?"
"Hypothetically speaki-"
"Cut the smart a** talk. How everything up above?"
"You got an Elite patrol about 130 meters, down the mountain of course.
"Copy that thanks."
Bryan looked over at Chris, "Hook up."
"I don't need to." Chris smiled behind his helmet and visor, he patted his armor.
"Don't brag." Bryan bent over and snapped his his grappling hook onto a railing. He made sure that his harness was tight.
He looked at Chris who stood at the edge of the terrace.
Chris looked behind him, "See you on the other side."
"Likewise." Bryan said.
Chris dived off the edge.
Bryan steadily made his way down. Grappling then braking every 6 seconds.
He was listening to the radio chatter.
<<RECORDED COM CHATTER>>
Lt.Col McArthur: "Glad to see you back on your feet.
Cpl. Wilfong: "Your tellin' me."
Lt.Col McArthur: "But really, it's good to see you Dylan. I'm glad your okay."
(Gunshot)
Pvt. Hayduk: "Sniper! Get down!"
(Rustling)
LnceCpl. McClusky: "Celmer is down!"
Pvt. Hayduk: "Sean?! No! No! Sean can you hear me?! Sean!!!"
Cpl. Wilfong: "He's gone."
(Fading screams)
Pvt. Hayduk: (Crying) Sean!!!! Sean!!!!!!!! (More crying, sound fades.)
Lt.Col McArthur: Dylan.
Cpl. Wilfong: What?
Lt.Col McArthur: Look, Sean was shot in the head, and Andrew was asking if he could hear him.
Cpl. Wilfong: They were closer than we thought."
Bryan turned the COM off, he couldn't listen anymore.
Sean was dead. As soon as he turned it off, he heard the rapid fire of Chris' chain gun.
Bryan's feet touched the ground and he un-hooked himself. He turned around and looked at Chris who seased fire. He was obviously done killing them.
"Well it's about time you showed u-"
A bullet struck the back of Chris' helmet.
He turned around tryed to find where it had came from.
The man who had shot him popped up again. But he was screaming. Chris didn't fire, nor did Bryan.
The man began moving, away from the cover and into full view. A katana had gone right through him. The man fell face first into the dirt.
Out of the mist, a figure dropped about 32 feet.
Chris heard the figure wince. The figure pulled the sword out of the man.
He stepped into the light.
"Pretty good throw right?" Tanner said.
Chris and Bryan looked at each other they all laughed, Chris patted Tanner on the back, together they moved onward into the mist.
