Pt.1 Humanit

Prolog
Kaname lay there asleep under the moonlight in his dark bed of silkiness and he looked so damned
cute to Shinigaku. His small body seemed ever so fragile, ever so careful, ever so innocent. It was that very
innocence that Shinigaku was afried for. Yes Kaname had lived through so very much in his life; in the last
month alone, but could he live with Shinigaku being his enemy?
Kaname breath in and Shingaku gasped. Suddenly he was on his knees holding in a scream. Everything was red;
the moon, the walls, the rain, even Kaname's pale soft skin. A voice rang in his ears causing him both pain and
insanity. And from this he groaned.
"Onimaru Shinigaku!" a shrill voice rang out.
NO! he screamed in his head.
"Your power is useless. Do not fight me," she laughed.
Shinigaku growled.
"Your evil is awakened for your hunger of the boy!!!!!!!!!" she screamed in his head making the room spin in
pycotic chaos.
Shinigaku hissed shutting out the voice, looking down and then back at Kaname. He stood and was beside
Kaname on the bed. His lips were an inch from Kaname's throat, pressed in thin lines as if he was suffering
some sort of pain. He hoped Kaname would wake and stop him. Shinigaku's eyes were red with Lust and
evil. Kaname opened his eyes and gasped moving, falling back when Shinigaku's hands met his arms.
Kaname's sweet soft voice spoke, "Stop this," he cried out.
Shinigaku tried but this did not stop him from biting down into the tender flesh of the nape of Kaname's neck.
Kaname cried out! Blood entered Shinigaku's mouth and with a gasp Kaname begged.
"Shini-sama PLEASE!"
Shinigaku shook unable to stop. The beast inside him roared with the taste and ate at his neck. Blood ran down
onto the sheets and was sliding down in a single line as of most of it was in Shinigaku's mouth. Kaname cried
out weak from the bloodloss and fearful of this horror.
"Ssshin.i...ga.kkku..."
Silence!
Not the bat of a wing or the beat of a heart.
Just cold dead silence...
Chapter 1: The Begining
He stood a figure of beauty. His long dark hair billowing in the chill that swept from the North.
Moonlight danced against his pale skin and shown on his silky hair. He remained a stillness in the night;
staute until he saw it.
The creature!
It flew, a shadow in the night. The only light in the darkness was the blood of his eyes. The thing was the
picture of Poe's demon bird. It geered in the night shaiking around with its monsterous feet.
Then out of the shadows they appeared. Two siloetts of light. They ran like the wind, there and gone the next.
Red light seered the beast and it cawed lifting its wings and taking off. He was at arms! He ran; following the
bird. The siloetts became clear showing them as a man and a woman.
The man was blonde with eyes, gold and pure. He stood tall and lanky with the blackest color dog ears. The
woman of fine sea blue hair and green eyes, stood as a pitet busty woman with black horns a top her head and
a little demon tail.
The woman spoke in a twinkily voice as they ran.
"Master Shinigaku...."
The man of beauty nodded, his soft blackish hair sweeping about him.
"Zetsu?" he asked in a dark angelic voice."
The man with dog ears looked confused.
"Yes?"
"Do you smell that?"
The she devil grumbled.
"Una?" the black haired asked.
Her tail twitched and she nodded wrinkling her nose. She was about to speak but there was a scream in the
darkness. The beast laughed and stood just ahead of them.
"You smell nice little human," the bird sayed his mouth watering.
A young man stood pressed against a building by the birds claws. When Shinigaku saw him his heart hastened.
The wind blew through him and his blood heated. Something about this boy unevred him.
This boy!
He stood at best 5'10 but no shorty. He was petit possibly under weight, pale in the face; soft looking. His hair
billowed about the softest blonde there was, but not platnium. His eyes glowed, a beautiful purple in the night.
And to Shinigaku they seemed seductive, entrancing even. But it was not his eyes that beconed Shinigaku. This
boy was the picture of beauty! but it was not a sexy beauty but an almost innocent untouched beauty. And from
this Shinigaku's blood ran cold when he thought of that beast; his talons digging into hjumped im.
The night went red as blood as Shinigaku jumped into action.
The Raven laughed.
"You think you can defeat me prince?"
Shinigaku jumped and reaching out slashed at the bird. The bird squacked and was gone. The boy gasped and
fell to his knees panting. Una, Zetsu and Shinigaku approached the boy. He stared down Shinigaku standing.
"You stay back!" he yelled.
The boy pressed himself against the wall. Una and Zetsu stopped. Shinigaku tiptoed slowly foward.
"We mean you no harm kid," he promised.
The boy blinked.
"You just beat down a giant bird, forgive me if I dont believe you," he glarred.
In an instint Shinigaku was beside him.
"On that note, we saved your life," he grinned.
"Yes well..."
The boy trailed off. He suddenly gasped collapsing. Shinigaku caught him only to see blood on his hand. He
looked down staring transfixed at the blood stain on the boy's shirt.

He opened his eyes to brightness. The light beeping of a moniter shoed that he was alive. He lay in a hospital
bed in a brightly lit room. He blinked and gasped when he saw Shinigaku standing beside him. He sat up
suprised.
"Where am I?!" he demanded.
"Your in a private facility Kaname," he smiled.
Kaname blinked.
"How do you know my name?" he asked shocked.
Shinigaku laughed pointing to Kaname's I.D card on the table.
"Oh," he said.
Shinigaku nodded.
"Well seems like your healing well," he grinned.
Shinigaku turned to go and the light reflected on his dark hair giving him a holy look about him.
"Thank you. I dont know your name," confessed Kaname messing with his own hair.
Shinigaku turned back.
"Its Shinigaku, and no problem," he stated plainly.
"Well you must be strong to take down that demon thing," Kaname professed.
Shinigaku smirked.
"The bigger they are the easier they fall. What makes you so sure it was a demon?"
Kaname sighed streching.
"Its a bit obvious," he laughed.
At that sentiment Shinigaku laughed.
"Just as its clear that your one too."
Zetsu spoke with a sigh. "Well guess the kids in the loop."
Una walked up to Kaname hugging him.
"And he's so cute!" she squeeled.
Kaname yelped jumping away from Una. Shinigaku patted Kaname's head and he grumbled.
"I've decided I wanna work with you guys," explained Kaname.
Shinigaku's eyes were swirls suddenly. The room grew colder.
"Do you really want to work with the Devil?"
Kaname was taken aback but nodded. Zetsu laughed and Una giggled.
Shinigaku walked out.
"Your in for a rough time kid," laughed Shinigaku.

It was dark out...
Kaname lay asleep in his bed, dreaming softly of wonderlands and magic. Rain poured outside his window.
Zetsu and Shinigaku stood in the down pour. Shinigaku looked up at the window that belonged to Kaname's
room.
"What the Hell are we doing? Its cold out here," complained Zetsu pushing his jacket together shaiking slightly.
"We're watching out for Kaname. Something tells me the raven was after him," Shinigaku explained.
"You sure your not using that as an excuse to watch him because you think he's cute?" taunted Zetsu.
Shinigaku hit him atop his head growling with distaste.
"You only get defensive when my outragious accuzations are correct," mumbled Zetsu with a grin.
He rubbed his head with a twitch. Shinigaku blinked and then looked up again to the window, Zetsu's eyes
following.
"That boy is something speacil I just know it."
The next day...
Rain poured down. Thunder lit the sky. Clouds of grey and silver puffed the air. Kaname walked out to the
kitchen in boxers, rubbing his hair with a blue towel. He padded into the room, looking up. Kaname was taken
aback by hs visitor. He yelped jumping back, dropping the towel. He fell to the floor hitting his butt.
Shinigaku sat atop the soft wood of Kaname's kitchen table, a picture of masculine beauty.
"Shinigaku h..how did you get in here?"
Shingaku was beside him in an instant, crouching beside him. He leened down his face only inches from
Kaname's.
"You forget I'm Demon deary," he laughed.
The closeness between them made Kaname gasp. Shinigaku helped Kaname up with a silent grin. After
moments of silence Kaname glarred at Shinigaku and he laughed.
"What?!" he demanded.
"Its just, I love your choice of clothes."
Kaname yelped and ran back to his room. It was minutes later when Kaname returned to the kitchen. He stood
in a long sleveed black shirt and jeens.
"So where are we going?" asked Kaname.
"To meet Lenore. Shes our doctor here on Earth. She is a servent of Una's," he explained.
Kaname nodded and was about to speak when the door was thrust open. They both stared at the woman who
walked through the door. She had cat like green eyes, which stared back at them like a lion would its prey. Her
hair a soft platnium blonde that sparkled in the light. She wore a traditional nurse uniform.
She smiled softly at them. She jumped, suddenly dropping her bag abd glomping Kaname. He groaned, feeling
the full weight of the woman.
"Hey kuna-chan," she geered.
Kaname coffed.
"Oni-sama," he replied with embarresment.
Shinigaku laughed.
"Well isnt this a cute site," he complimented.
Shinigaku exstended his hand.
"Shinigaku Onimaru madame," he introduced.
She grinned.
"Mirsa Hotaki good sir," she giggled while curtsying.
He nodded. "So are you a friend of Kanames?" she asked looking at Kaname.
Kaname nodded.
"From school," Shinigaku added.
Kaname glared at Shinigaku.
"Oh!" jumped Mirsa.
"He;s a student teacher!" shouted Kaname.
"Oh I see," laughed Mirsa.
Shinigaku nodded at this lie going along with the building of falsehoods.
"Thought you looked to old to be a high school student," she laughed slightly nervous.
She seemed to be bewitched by the angelic beauty in her house. There was akward silence for a moment and she
looked around, her eyes going to her watch.
"Well uh gotta go. I just came home to see how you were kaname," she taunted.
