I am the broken toy at the bottom of a child's toy box.
I was once loved and cherished
but then I broke and they lost interest in me
I was buried underneath it all
Lost and forgotten
I lie at the bottom waiting, wishing, hoping and dreaming
That maybe one day
Someone will love and cherish me again
yet
I still lie here forgotten & broken
I still lie here
waiting, wishing, hoping and dreaming
That I'll be loved and cherished once more
So I don't have to lie here forgotten and broken anymore
