Well, a new year has begun. I've set resolutions this year, and I have every intention of keeping them, for once. My primary goal is to get us all ORGANIZED for a change. After that, I plan on getting Penny back up to my level, intellectually. Grades must be pulled up before the semester ends. Focus is the key. Dedication, hard work, and limits. No more hours and hours of playing on the computer. Many more hours of studying. No more procrastinating. Tomorrow, a new era shall begin! We shall call it the "Penny Finally Got Her Act Together and Brought Her Grades Up Saga!" Today in Psychology, we learned about motivation. Mr. Benscoter asked us if we thought we were motived more by achievement or affiliation. I have to admit, I'm motivated more by achievement. Summer seems to be a fairly even blend of each, although I think she is more inclined to be motivated by affiliation. It's her competitive nature that makes me believe she is motivated by achievement, however. The others (with the except of Demence) are all motivated by affiliation. Demence must have some sort of motivation, but it stands to no logic or reasoning. In Chemistry, we're reviewing how to determine the mass of X moles of an element or compound. It seemed appropriate to ease us in with, after such a long break. For the life of me, I can't tell you what we're doing in Pre-Calculus. I slept in that class most of today.
As a side note, Athena Black's resolution is to sing more. Since she doesn't have a journal that is viewable by the general public, I'm posting it here.
