She fell over and cried, blood oozing from the gash on her forehead. He kneeled beside her and gently caressed her in his arms. "Dont you listen to them." he whispered lovingly into her ear, "You are the most beautiful girl in the world. They are just jealous of you." She tried to hold back her tears, choking on every sob. He looked into her teary eyes and pushed her hair back behind her ears. He laughed a little, "If anything, we all should be a little more crazy, who said being perfectly sane was a good thing." She looked into his kind, brown eyes, his bright smile almost comforting. "Just,... just go away, leave me alone!!! You caused all of this!" she screamed at him, letting a stream of hot tears run down her face. A tear ran down his cheek. He kissed her forehead, right above the cut. And then he vanished. Out of nowhere. Gone. She remembered the entire scene in her head, the girls, laughing at her, calling fowl names at her, while the boys threw the rocks. He tried to defend her, but no matter how hard he tried, the rocks just went through him, the other kids ignoring him like he wasn't even there. Was he there? They called her crazy, but was it true? The fact was, he wasn't there, nor was he ever there. A figment of her imagination. The realization that her whole world was a lie made her suddenly stop sobbing. She reached down into her bag, grabbed the small pistol she had to protect herself, pointed the barrel to her left temple, and pulled the trigger.
