What I think about Them:

Hans is a personal favorite of mine, simply because he has overcome so much and remained a good person. He is reliable and strong, and his positive qualities easily overshadow any negative qualities (I mean, the occasional temper tantrum is the worst it gets? Sweet.). That being said, he is easy to torment simply because he is so tolerant of others. It makes him a lovable, gentle (and sometimes oblivious) seme, and a strong, mentally stable uke.

He's a philosopher, and thinks deeply before making a big decision. Hans is usually your only friend in a room of enemies, even if he is technically an enemy as well. His high moral standards ensure that you will be treated fairly once disarmed and no longer a threat. Being put into his custody basically ensures your survival because Hans takes human life very seriously, and is a pacifist by nature.

In most RPs, he can be converted to another side (often the 'good' side in a rp) by using values and philosophy to prove the side he is on is corrupt (ex. If he is shown a concentration camp while in the role of a Nazi commander, he will switch sides. And become incredibly depressed.).
